We only changed the rooflining with suede, the bulkhead panel with snakeskin finish and the seat in leather. The leather was pleated as the rest of the seats in the aircraft

All parts were goldplated

The objective was to refurbish the interior with a African theme, but the owner did want to keep some original pieces, like the lampshades.

The interior was in white vynil (not even leather) and a brownish fabric.

We refurbished the interior in a light and darker shade of beige.

Rooflining in light cream suede and snakeskin finish on the bulkhead panels.

The beige carpet was replaced by dark blue wool carpet.

The curtain was a golden colour. We replaced it with African themed curtains and a dark blue curtain in between the lounge and dining room.

All cabinetry was scuffed and painted with a gloss finish.

F A Aircraft Interiors was established in 1998 at Grand Central Airport to serve the needs of the aviation industry in the Africa region and service the aviation industry in the Republic of South Africa and abroad.
Through the years F A Aircraft Interiors has grown in tandem with the industry, and now enjoys a good reputation as a reliable supplier of aircraft parts and materials, serving major airlines and other aviation organisations.
The focus was mainly on the military aircraft industry, which was very successful proving to be a major role player in the design, industrialisation and the supply of equipment and various products. In July 2001, it was decided to amalgamate with other aviation experts in the industry to bring forth an industry leader and to establish a one-stop aircraft refurbishment facility capable of undertaking a full spectrum of services to the military and civil aviation industry in Africa. The company relocated in beginning 2002 its head office to Lanseria Airport, the hub of civil aviation in Southern Africa. The company is involved in all aspects of aircraft refurbishment as well as new product design, support and safety equipment.
